Job Opportunity: Staff Nurse (X9 Positions)

Location: Sizwe Tropical Disease Hospital
Requirements:
- Senior certificate/Grade 12.
- Two (2) years Enrolled Nurse certificate allowing registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled nurse.
- Experience as a Nurse (advantageous).
- Good communication and basic writing skills.
- Ability and good interpersonal skills to function as part of a team.
- Knowledge of nursing care processes, quality assurance, patient experience of care, patient safety, infection control, and relevant legal frameworks.
- Good ethical practice and caring attitude.
- Basic understanding of nursing procedures and legislative framework protocols.
Duties:
- Ensure safe and effective clinical nursing practice.
- Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Quality Nursing Care.
- Uphold and maintain Nursing Standards.
- Ensure effective communication within the hierarchy.
- Optimal utilization of resources.
- Maintain national core standards (Ideal Hospital realization).
- Professional growth, ethical standards, and self-development.
