The Youth Development Administration continues its mission to empower and nurture young talents, and in this endeavor, invites aspiring photographers to embark on a 24-month journey through the Youth Development – Photographer initiative. Denoted by Reference Number YD/NO/11, this program seeks to harness the creative potential of individuals passionate about photography. Participants will receive monthly stipends based on their educational qualifications and have the opportunity to contribute to the visual storytelling of the organization.
Stipend Structure:
- National Diploma: Up to R5,000 per month
- Bachelor’s Degree: Up to R5,500 per month
- Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Qualification: Up to R6,500 per month
- Honours Degree: Up to R6,500 per month
- All 4 years and Professional degrees: Up to R7,000 per month
- Master’s Degree: Up to R7,500 per month

Educational Requirements:

Key Responsibilities for YD/NO/11 (X1 Post):
This initiative focuses on the role of a Photographer within the National Office – PEC, with an emphasis on visual communication and storytelling. The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Visual Storytelling:
Capture compelling images that convey the essence and impact of various youth development programs and initiatives. The photographer will be instrumental in documenting the organization’s journey through impactful visuals. - Creative Collaboration:
Collaborate with different departments to visually represent their projects and activities. This role requires the ability to understand and interpret the unique aspects of each initiative and translate them into visually appealing content. - Event Photography:
Cover events and activities organized by the organization, ensuring that key moments are captured effectively. The photographer will play a crucial role in creating a visual record of significant milestones and achievements.
