We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and basic financial concepts. This individual will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks and supporting the Finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare analysis of accounts as needed
- Assist with month-end and year-end closings
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
- Maintain and organize financial records
- Assist with tax filings and audits
- Provide support to the Finance team on special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-2 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
