Quality Standards Technology Transfer Internship

Main Purpose of the Job

The internship programme aims to provide suitable and relevant work experience aligned with the intern’s qualifications.

Key Performance Areas

  • Assess Small Enterprises: Evaluate small enterprises to benefit the Technology Transfer Fund (TTF).
  • Develop Business Cases: Create comprehensive business cases for the adjudication panel.
  • Administer Technology Transfer Fund: Manage the TTF on a national level.
  • Maintain Database: Establish and maintain an accurate database of relevant information.
  • Technology Verification: Verify the technology supplied and received at clients’ premises.
  • Policy and Process Review: Contribute to the review and improvement of TTF policies and processes.
  • Impact Analysis: Conduct impact analysis of technology interventions on beneficiaries.
  • Conduct Workshops: Facilitate TTF awareness workshops to educate and inform stakeholders.

Required Minimum Qualification

  • Mandatory: Matric and a three-year tertiary qualification (N6) in Commerce, Project Management, Technology, or Engineering.
  • Advantageous: Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in Commerce, Project Management, Technology, or Engineering.

Required Minimum Work Experience

  • Not Applicable – This is a work experience exposure programme.
