Position: Senior Shift Manager
As a Senior Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inbound, inventory, and outbound operations. Your role is essential in ensuring smooth and efficient processes within our distribution center.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Relevant Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain.
- Experience: 3-5 years of managing a warehouse/distribution center.
- Skills:
- Solid systems knowledge: Advanced Excel, WMS, High Jump, Bomm, camera system.
- Ability to work shift patterns.
Preferred Skills:
- Retail/Warehouse experience.
- Staff management experience.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adequate picking staff and appropriate MHE available to staff.
- Oversee efficient and timely completion of picking and admin tasks.
- Report on shift attendance and performance.
- Manage stock, receiving, replenishment, reverse logistics, and Chep pallets.
- Take full responsibility during night shifts when scheduled.
- Inventory management.
- Staff and manager supervision.
- Update SOPs and provide training.
- Upskill management and succession planning.
- Liaise with Resolve Planning and Transporters.
- Control recycling.
